Click-to-Call

A feature that lets users initiate a phone call by clicking a button on a website, CRM, or app — no manual dialing required.

Click-to-call (also called click-to-dial) enables users to start a phone call by clicking a phone number, button, or widget — whether on a website, within a CRM interface, in an email, or inside a business application. The click triggers the user's softphone, mobile app, or desk phone to automatically dial the number, eliminating manual digit entry and the errors that come with it.

For sales teams, click-to-call dramatically increases outbound call velocity. A sales rep working a list of leads in a CRM can click-to-call each one in sequence without switching applications or misdialing. For website visitors, a click-to-call button lowers the barrier to contact — studies consistently show higher conversion rates on pages with prominent click-to-call elements.

Zonitel supports click-to-call through browser extensions, CRM integrations, and embeddable website widgets. Numbers formatted as tel: links on web pages automatically trigger the Zonitel dialer.
