Hosted PBX

A business phone system managed entirely in the cloud by a service provider — no on-site hardware or IT maintenance required.

A hosted PBX (Private Branch Exchange) is a cloud-based telephone system where all the switching, routing, and call management hardware lives at the provider's data centers rather than on your premises. Your business accesses the system via the internet — through IP desk phones, softphones on a computer, or a mobile app. The provider handles maintenance, upgrades, redundancy, and security.

Traditional PBX systems required expensive on-site hardware, dedicated phone wiring, and IT staff to manage. A hosted PBX eliminates all of that. Adding a new line takes minutes instead of days. Scaling up for seasonal demand or a new office requires no hardware purchases. And because the system runs in the cloud, it works from any location with an internet connection.

Hosted PBX is now the dominant phone system choice for businesses with fewer than 250 employees. Zonitel's hosted PBX includes unlimited extensions, auto attendant, call recording, voicemail to email, ring groups, and analytics — all in a single monthly subscription with no hardware costs.
